Acoustics
A More Balanced Way to Experience Sound.
Sealing your ears shut removes everything at once. A filter works differently: it sits in the sound path and is designed to take the edge off steady background noise, while the rest of your environment carries on through.

About this visualisation: This animation is a conceptual illustration of how filtered earplugs are intended to behave. It is not measured acoustic data, not a frequency attenuation curve, and does not represent tested performance. Verified figures will be published here once independent test data is available.

JetPlugs take a different approach to earplugs. Rather than sealing your ears shut, a clear moulded body carries an acoustic filter in the sound path, designed to reduce the steady background noise that fills a cabin while letting the rest of your environment through.
The result is intended to feel less like switching the world off and more like turning it down — so a long duty day is a little quieter without leaving you cut off from it.

Care
- Wipe the ear tips with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth after use.
- Let them dry fully before putting them back in the case.
- Do not use solvents, alcohol gels or boiling water, and do not push anything into the filter opening.
- Replace the ear tips if they become torn, hardened or discoloured.
Compatibility & safety
- JetPlugs are a hearing-comfort product. They are not sold as certified hearing protection and should not be used where protection is required by regulation, by your employer, or by a risk assessment.
- Whether earplugs may be worn on duty is set by your airline, not by us. Check your operator's policy and operations manual. Airline policy, crew briefings and safety instructions always take priority.
- We publish no attenuation, speech-intelligibility or alarm-audibility figures, because no independent test data exists yet. Do not assume any filter keeps a specific sound audible.
- Earplugs are personal items and should not be shared. Stop using them and seek advice from a healthcare professional if you experience pain, irritation, discharge, or any change in your hearing.
